Heaven can Wait

Eternal Earth-Bound Pets, USA
The next best thing to pet salvation in a Post Rapture World

http://eternal-earthbound-pets.com/

You've committed your life to Jesus. You know you're saved. But when the Rapture comes what's to become of your loving pets who are left behind? Eternal Earth-Bound Pets takes that burden off your mind.

We are a group of dedicated animal lovers, and atheists. Each
Eternal Earth-Bound Pet representative is a confirmed atheist, and as such will still be here on Earth after you've received your reward. Our network of animal activists are committed to step in when you step up to Jesus.

We are currently active in 20 states and growing. Our representatives have been screened to ensure that they are atheists, animal lovers, are moral / ethical with no criminal background, have the ability and desire to rescue your pet and the means to retrieve them and ensure their care for your pet's natural life.

We currently cover the following states:
Maine,New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana ... and growing.

Our service is plain and simple; our fee structure is reasonable.
For $110.00 we will guarantee that should the Rapture occur within ten (10) years of receipt of payment, one pet per residence will be saved. Each additional pet at your residence will be saved for an additional $15.00 fee. A small price to pay for your peace of mind and the health and safety of your four legged friends.

Unfortunately at this time we are not equipped to accommodate all species and must limit our services to dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and small caged mammals.

Thank you for your interest in Eternal Earth-Bound Pets. We hope we can help provide you with peace of mind.

Sore Bum

The owner said the dogs butt was a little sore when he handed him to my assistant. I'd say its sore! I have been grooming this dog for over 5 years, not very often, or I would have stopped and sent him home as soon as I saw it.

The Long Walk Home

Some of you may remeber my problem/video with Brenna tormenting Lolita on the walk home. I found a solution!

Beautiful Hair

My Brenna.

Schnauzer????

This is a nice little schnauzer we groom, today the owner has decided she wants a very short cut with a Terrier head. What kind of terrier? I decided to try to make him look like a Cairn. How'd I do??

Failure oF the nOw

This is a before and after of my Standard Poodle "Brenna". I'm very unhappy with this groom. Oh well, it is what it is and it does suck. She will be one year old next month, I think she is going thru a coat change of some sort.

My New Addition~Ain't she cute?

This item was long overdue. Now that we are doing 20-30 dogs some days humidity was becoming a major issue. I bought this Fridgidare dehumidifier last night and we saw a significant decrease in drying time today. I will be buying another I am sure. It pulled almost 70 pints of water from the air in our bathing area today.

The German Red Clipper

I got this clipper a couple of years ago and have used it very little. Its very different to what we're used to here in the U.S. This dog Barrett came in today and I decided to get them out and give them another shot and I was very glad I did. This dog has the thickest coat of any dog I groom and I usually have to wash and blow him out first to get a blade thru it, not today though, this clipper went right through it. I think I will be using it a lot more in the future.

Mohawk

Sorry I've been so slow to post. We've been super busy, the spring rush has begun and I've a bum knee that keeps me in constant pain, torn meniscus I think. I know this looks off center but the dogs cowlick is not symetrical. I tried to talk the owner out of this but whatta ya gonna do?

Hello Pussycat.....whoa whoa whoa....

I by know means try to pass myself off as a great cat groomer. I can do one if I have to but really prefer not to. Persians are a different animal from other cats, so docile and dog like. This was one of those, a very good cat. He was very hairy no matts, owner brushes but wanted some of the hair off but "not shaved". I usually tell owners its all or nothing and shave them with a 10 blade. I groom this clients dogs as well so I attempted to make her happy. I washed and dried this cat and then clipped him with a #1 steel comb. She was very happy. Next timeI do him I think I will try using my clipper vac. I welcome all critisism and suggestions from those of you who excel at cat grooming. The owner was very happy by the way.

"Majick" a rescue poodle

This is Majick. He was grown way out and as usual I did not have as much time to finish him as I would have liked. Owners request was "lots of hair, I like him really hairy and fluffy". I like a big topknot on a poodle myself. When I groomed him I knew the topknot was big but I thought it really suited him. After looking at the video I feel differently. It definitely needs a bit more scissoring. I cant wait to re groom him in six weeks. When she first brought him to me fresh out of rescue I didn't give him much thought. There was nothing special about him. I think he is a very pretty dog now and has a very nice coat. It's amazing what a great home, lots of love and a good diet can do.

Cocker?

This one of those cockers that defys me. Owner wants a cocker cut but the way his hair grows.... is not really correct for the breed. I did this dog with a #2 comb rather than a 7f. I thought it came out fairly well. The owner was very happy.

Color and St. Patrick

Here is my first attempt at coloring my dog (any dog). This was done with sidewalk chalk and Blopens for the shamrocks. Next time I will use something else. I think I will add some more stenciling and color to her head before the BIG day rolls around.

The Blues

We had the blues today. This dog, "Callie"'s owner asked for no fall and no skirt (?)

"Poppy!!!"

Here are three video clips for your consideration.
Poppy is a great dog but alas he is getting old. I've been grooming him for 3 or 4 years now. His last groom was 11 weeks ago. Ive made him look better but I only had so much time today and he showed up without an appointment. I insisted we prebook his next appointment in 5 weeks.

Bichon Poodle mix

Today was this dogs first real grooming. His hair was very long. He had a lite tidy up 3 months ago at a nearby Petsmart that the owner was very unhappy with. I used an O comb on the body and scissored the legs then did the head with thinners and went back over the legs with thinners. Owner asked me to not cut the ears at all.

Brenna

This is my Std. Poodle "Brenna", she's about 7 months old now. She's a good girl and in dire need of a cut. She's turning out to be an awesome dog and makes me laugh daily. My clients adore her.

Scotty

I really don't like grooming Scotties. My experience with them has not been good as you can see. I rarely use muzzles. This Scottie is about to move far far away and I'm not sad.

This has to be the best Bandanna fabric I've ever found.

Turkey Neckin'

These necks look like something Lorena Bobitt threw out her car window.

I found these at our local Giant (think piGGly wiGGly) tonight. I've been looking for turkey necks for a while and had decided that no one around here sold them. I bought 5 packages.
There is a high end pet supply store near me that sells them (4 much much smaller necks frozen for $8). Do you feed necks to your dogs? How much and how often? The ones in the next video were gone in about 10 minutes, the only thing left was two lip smackin' happy Poodles.

New Poodle Trim Trend?

Neglect??

This is a before and after video, it speaks for itself.

Thursday, February 12, 2009

"Pumpkin"

"Pepper"

This is Pepper and she is a great Cocker. I don't much care for doing Cockers but this one is the exception. Keeping her up on 4 feet is a chore without a kleenex box but other than that she is golden.

"Oreo"

O Comb all over. Very nice dog. Thinners on head and face.

"Einstein" Nickens~Contest!

What would you charge to do this groom????
Anonymous comments welcome. Einstein has very good table manners.
If you're the first to charge what I charged you will win a great prize!

Charlie, Stacy and Oscar

This is Charlie, a wonderful Maltese. The woman in the video is Stacy. She has worked for me for over a year, never been late and never called out once. I pray she never leaves me. She can shave a poodle foot like no one else and soon will be groomer. She is everything an employer wants and hopes for from an employee, funny, reliable, trustworthy and a very hardworker.
I should pay her more.

She's one of a kind and all mine! I do share her with her husband though.

Gizmo

Two comb over the back. I'd have liked to spend more time on this dog today but there just wasn't time.

Toy Australian Shepherd "TeddY"

This is the only one of these I've ever seen. Ive groomed him for the last 4 years, a nice little dog he is.

A DandY LabradOOdLe

These are a couple of before pics. This girl had one grooming before that was mostly just a face feet and tail. She is 8 months old and a very good girl.

This is the after video. I did her with an "O" comb and used the comb back to front on top of her head.
She had a ton of knots on her legs.

Sophie (a tiny Bichon)

This is "Riley" a 6 month old Havanese. He had his first grooming today. This is one of those rare clients that knows how to brush, he had not a matt on him. He screamed and threw a fit every time I came near him with the clippers. All in all I was pretty happy with the end product and so was the owner. I used an o comb lightly, scissored a great deal and used thinners on his head.

No can do, we're closed on Monday.
This is a video I made a few months ago for groomers on The Groomers Lounge.
Some of you may have seen it already so move along now.

My only Bedlington, "Ricky"

GOING HOME
FLUFFED
Ive been grooming Ricky for 7 years. He's an odd dog and never (refuses) to make eye contact with me.
He seems to pretend I'm not there, like I don't exist.
He gets a 7f all over w/a Beddie head and tail.
His mother is a great client, pre books every 6 weeks is never late and never cancels. She has a tough row to hoe. Her husband was in a car accident and is now a parapeligic.

Nuns with a Pitbull!

"Now, now Molly, purgatory is a hellish place and ya don't want to be going there so look at the camera for me now."

"Now, thats much better Molly and God will reward ya for yer cooperation he surely will."

This is Molly, a Pitbull mix. She belongs to Sister Karen and the other nuns that reside at Palloti Convent. As a young lad I was taught by the nuns of this order. The shelter told them she was a lab mix when they adopted her but her head is most definatly a Pit with possibly a tad of Lab DNA which I find hilarious.

The Convent is next door to the home of one of the richest women in Laurel. She owns a Bichon I groom. Molly was loose one day and tore into poor Leon the Bichon at the end of the leash he was being walked on much to her horror. He needed quite a few stiches and it screwed up his haircut for sometime.

Althought I am a bit of a non-believer (agnostic) I groom Molly on the last Tuesday of each month for free. I have nothing but respect and admiration for women like Sister Karen who have devoted their lives for a highter cause and she is very funny to boot.

When she came in on Tuesday for Molly's bath I asked her if I could take their picture for my web page. She said "of course Sean but perhaps it would be better if I had my nun get-up on". I said"oh Sister that'd be too much trouble." She was not dressed like this that day but her and Molly stoped by today to let me take this pic.

Thank You Sister!

A True Patron Saint to Dogs (Cockers mostly)

This is Mailyn Kessinger. I've been grooming dogs for her for about 6 years. These 3 belong to her but she brings me about a dog a week to groom. Many are quite difficult to groom due to being rescue dogs. She has a group called "Oldies But Goodies" and she and her cohorts have saved many a dog from certain death. I do some for free but not all of them. Someday I will.
She is a very kind, old soul. I adore her. I have never turned her away due to behavior and she only pays base price no matter what condition they are in. She has never not once complained in anyway or asked for a freebie or a price break nor has she ever rushed me. Did I say how much I adore her? Her day is comming soon for all freebies....soon.

My dogs in the snow

First Post

This is Julliette Ferrara and her mom. Great clients, they come every two weeks. Although Juliette is very fussy to groom we're always glad to see them.
