The owner said the dogs butt was a little sore when he handed him to my assistant. I'd say its sore! I have been grooming this dog for over 5 years, not very often, or I would have stopped and sent him home as soon as I saw it.

I live in a small farming community and get those only once in a blue moon. I bathe, get the hair off and ask them who their vet is. We only have two so I call the Vet myself and tell them what I'm dealing with. I send them straight to Vet afterwards and tell them I called and gave the Vet a heads up. They don't dare not go. I also charge accordingly. I had a Cocker come in with a throat that looked like that once and sent him straight to the Vet also. It was from the nylon collar and the dog being wet and dirty too long.
